Crack Your Wooden Puzzle with These Handy Tips
Share
Getting started with a big wooden puzzle? Here’s how you can make the process easier:
- Choose the right table: A light puzzle on a dark surface, or a dark puzzle on a light surface, makes it easier to see the image come together.
- Start with the edges: Build the border first! Even if the pieces have irregular shapes, focusing on the edge will give your puzzle a good foundation.
- Sort pieces by color: For big puzzles, grouping pieces by color or pattern can speed things up. If it’s an outdoor scene, separate the sky, trees, and flowers into different piles.
- Turn each piece to fit: Sometimes, just turning a piece around can make it fit perfectly, especially when the colors match but the shape doesn’t seem right at first.
